UTILITY
3M™ Scotchlok™ Shield Connectors 4460-D and 4460-DS are a smaller version of the 4460 ground clamp. They are designed to make a stable and low-resistance electrical connection between communications cables of 0.8-inch diameter or less (100 pair, 24 AWG and under) and a conductor such as a strap, wire or braid. This indoor/outdoor shield bond connector can be used for almost any cable mounting, including aerial strand, underground, wall and pole applications.
The 3M 4460-D Scotchlok Grounding Clamp Kit includes both the shield connector base and connector top plus flanged wiring nuts for installation. Each metal clamp has a current-carrying capacity as good as or better than aluminum shielding connectors of the same size. Use them with any fiber or copper enclosure. They are RUS listed and RoHS compliant.
