Use it where you need protection from the elements, whether as an aerial cable or as an underground phone cable. For a core wrap, it boasts a non-hygroscopic dielectric tape applied longitudinally with an overlap. It has an aluminum shield comprised of corrugated, copolymer-coated 0.008” aluminum tape applied longitudinally with an overlap and sheath interfaces flooded with an adhesive water-blocking compound. The jacket is black, linear low-density polyethylene.
