The shielding jacket and filling and flooding compounds in our 12 Pair 22AWG PE89 Direct Burial Telephone Cable provide exceptional durability and moisture resistance. Use it where you need protection from the elements, whether as an aerial cable or as an underground phone cable. For a core wrap, it boasts a non-hygroscopic dielectric tape applied longitudinally with an overlap. It has an aluminum shield comprised of corrugated, copolymer-coated 0.008” aluminum tape applied longitudinally with an overlap and sheath interfaces flooded with an adhesive water-blocking compound. The jacket is black, linear low-density polyethylene.
AVAILABILITY
Use this direct-burial gel-filled phone cable in an underground conduit. It is also suitable for outdoor applications without the use of conduit, for direct burial applications, saving materials and installation costs.
