The Erico Caddy MPLS metal drywall ring eliminates the need for an electrical box when installing low-voltage class 2 wiring. The MPLS mounts to drywall from ½-inch to 1.25-inch thick and can be used with any standard low-voltage device, including Ethernet, home theater and telephone cables. This Erico single-gang mud ring is made of durable steel that provides a tough frame for wall plates on your outlets, switches or cable jacks. It also makes it easier to wire fish because you have a more defined space.

The MPLS comes with locking screws that provide additional support. Installation is easy, requiring only a keyhole saw and a screwdriver. You can use special tools such as the MagnePull QBit to further reduce installation time.
