Signamax Connectivity
Systems' 065-7732A Gigabit Ethernet Access Switch provides two optional Gigabit
Ethernet connections, and it is a fully functional SNMP-managed 24-port 10/100
switch as well. Two redundant, load-sharing, hot-swappable power supplies are
standard equipment. The two optional Gigabit Ethernet ports permit creation of
a Gigabit backbone network with 24 10/100 ports per switch for workstation and
server connectivity. Full SNMP management capabilities are included, with web
browser, local terminal and Telnet remote terminal connection usable
simultaneously with real time updating. It also communicates with network
management systems such as HP OpenViewTM via SNMP for enterprise-wide status
display, statistical monitoring, and switch control. Layer 3 look-ahead routing
features and IEEE 802.1p Class of Service / 802.1Q Tagged VLAN support provide
a complete package for convergent networks.
