AFL 62.5/125 OM1 Multimode Indoor/Outdoor Riser Cable is a premium fiber cable made for small- to mid-sized broadband networks. This 24-strand fiber optic cable is specified for campus network cabling. It is most effective for buildings where inter-building lengths are short enough that fiber installers will recognize savings from a lower cost of terminating tight-buffered cables. The cable is usually run between floors in non-HVAC areas or up the side of a building when indoor-to-outdoor cabling is needed.

Each black multimode riser 24-strand fiber cable is OFNR-listed for indoor applications and meets requirements for fire and moisture resistance. For outdoor applications, the cable is manufactured with an outer jacket that incorporates a UV stabilizer for protection against exposure to the sun. The jacket also has anti-fungus protection for use in underground applications such as ductwork.
