This direct bury fiber optic cable is also suitable for indoor applications when installed according to National Electric Code guidelines. The corrugated steel tape armor in this armored fiber optic cable makes it rodent resistant for direct buried fiber optic cable installations. It also provides superior protection against UV radiation, fungus, abrasion and other environmental hazards.
