UTILITY
This Preformed Line Products outdoor burial cable splice enclosure provides the long-term protection that your ground-buried cable splices need from harsh weather and harsher rodents. The vial of the Ranger SERVISEAL® Closure (up to 6-pair) comes pre-filled with POLY-BEE™ Sealant, which forms a field-proven (over 14 years) protective barrier around the individual splice connectors. Each SERVISEAL Closure consists of a pre-filled vial and a cap assembly with an integral insertion ram and bonding connector. The 2-piece design has no loose parts so you don’t have to worry about lost or easily damaged pieces.
Installation of the SERVISEAL 6-Pair Cable Splice Enclosure is fast and easy as well. After preparing the service wires, simply lay them within the grooves in the cap, lay the exposed cable shield within the bond connector and tighten. Splices on the individual pairs are easily organized around the integral insertion ram. The SERVISEAL Closures now have a twist locking feature on the threads of the vial which provides a clear indication that it is fully engaged and prevents reuse of the vial.
