Description

The Bud Industries SNB-3741-SS Stainless Steel NEMA enclosure maximizes protection of sensitive electronics and critical electrical controls (exact size is 9.84" x 7.87" x 3.98"). Constructed of 16 gauge 304 stainless steel, this new NEMA box is ideal for harsh environments and applications where sturdy steel, security, and a seal against moisture are required. It is suitable for outdoor applications such as wind turbines and solar power systems, as well as for housing industrial controls in wash-down, marine, and corrosive environments in the food or medical industries. The SNB-3741-SS has continuous welded seams and a hinged cover that has a water-tight seal. The hinged cover clamps to the base with a keyed quarter-turn latch that requires a non-traditional key for added security. External mounting brackets allow the box to be mounted on a wall or panel without having to remove the cover and expose internal components to the environment. Enclosures are designed to meet NEMA 1, 2, 4, 4X, 12, and 13 requirements.
