The IDEAL 61-946 SureTrace™ Open/Closed Circuit Tracer is a high-performance circuit tester designed to safely and efficiently detect and diagnose electrical issues in circuits up to 480 volts AC (50 & 60 Hz) and DC, including complex 3-phase systems. This robust tool is ideal for professionals working on a variety of electrical installations and maintenance tasks.

  • Features Certain Circuit technology for quick breaker/fuse confirmation and live circuit identification.
  • The receiver features a backlight display, mute function, and 4 sensitivity settings.
  • The receiver displays analog and digital received signal strength, sensitivity setting, mute, live circuit, and low battery indications.
  • The Transmitter has a magnetic/hook strap clip for use where the transmitter requires suspended connections to conductors. (Strap sold separately). It also has an integrated kick stand allowing it to be set up on flat surfaces for easier viewing of the indications.
  • Over-molded Industrial design enhances gripping and allows the Receiver and Transmitter to withstand a 6.6-foot (2 m) drop.
