The IDEAL 61-948 SureTrace™ PLUS Open/Closed Circuit Tracer is designed for professional electricians and technicians who require precision and reliability in their work. This ETL Certified CAT III 600V device is engineered for use on circuits ranging from 0-600 volts AC (50 & 60 Hz) and DC, including complex 3-phase systems. The kit includes a transmitter and a receiver, each equipped with advanced features to streamline your circuit tracing and fault detection tasks.

Features

  • Receiver features dual high visibility displays visible in all conditions/positions via a patented 180° main display and patented TightSight® secondary display making high/low tracing and breaker identification in tight spaces easier.
  • Transmitter features a patent-pending built-in continuity test eliminating the need for a second tester when searching for wiring faults.
  • Receiver also features an NCV that indicates the presence of 24 to 600V AC, a work light for use in poor lighting conditions and a mute function for working in noise-sensitive areas
  • Transmitter indicates 8 different voltage levels between 24 - 600 V AC & 12 to 600 V DC as well as DC polarity and features a magnetic/hook strap clip for hands-free use (strap sold separately) as well as an integrated kick stand for set up on flat surfaces.
  • Over-molded Industrial design enhances gripping and allows the Receiver and Transmitter to withstand a 6.6-foot (2 m) drop.
  • Finds: Breakers and Fuses, Splice Errors, Dead Shorts, Energized/De-Energized Conductors in Walls, Ceilings, and Floors
