Ideal UY2 Splice Connector, 26-19awg (100 pieces)

The Ideal Industries 86-955 IDC Insulation Displacement Connectors, (jellybeans), are 2 wire butt-splice connectors used to repair, extend, or add new lines in traditional telecommunications/voice and common low-voltage/signal applications.

These jellybean splice connectors include an internal moisture resistant gel sealant for protection when installed in outdoor locations. Crimping of the connectors requires a parallel action tool to avoid uneven crimps. DLV recommends using the Eclipse 100-008 Crimp Tool.

To use the connectors: Insert all unstripped conductors into the ports until they pass the internal bus bar and reach the end of the connector. Place the connector assembly on the flat pad surface of the crimp tool and slowly squeeze until the colored cap snaps down into place over the conductors.
